ELEGIBILITY

Who can participate?

This event is a unique opportunity for young people between the ages of 16 and 30 to interact in person and online, to exchange views with policy makers, civil society representatives, youth associations, activists, experts and, above all, with other young people who believe in the same European values.

EYE Santander is aimed at people in this age range, so only applications from them will be accepted. Note that you must be within this age range at the time of the event. However, to be a speaker in one of the sessions the limit is set at 35 years old; unless the speaker is a high-ranking official, for which there would be no age limit, as we want to give young people the opportunity to discuss their ideas with different legislators as well as with political representatives of society.

In addition to individual young people, it is also possible to participate as part of a group, by filling in the corresponding group section in the registration link below. Groups must have a minimum of 10 members and a leader of legal age (who will count towards this minimum), who can be up to 35 years old. In exceptional cases, the leader may be over 35 years old, for example if the person is a secondary school teacher accompanying a group from the school.

Do I have to be a student to be able to participate?

Not at all. Anyone between the ages of 16 and 30 can participate. We strongly encourage young people at pre-university level, without higher education or professionals to sign up for this project.

Do I have to be a citizen of the European Union to be eligible?
